Spiritual Mentorship

kkkk

Matthew 28:19–20 NIV
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Here at Wellspring, we do life together in 3 ways:

Corporate Life- Church-wide events and activities that facilitate our life together as a larger community.
Connect Events- They exist for connecting people through common interests and activities. These events are optional and can be geared towards smaller or larger group sizes. These groups can have many functions: 1) Evangelism, 2) Integrating people into relationships, 3) Providing other avenues of connection for those who would like it, and 4) Perhaps functioning as a precursor to an Encounter Group. The overall purpose is not for mentorship but for connection.
Encounter Groups- They exist for the spiritual (bible study, prayer, teaching, equipping, accountability), emotional (soul-care, counselling), and physical health (practical needs - financial, hospitality) of the people at Wellspring. An Encounter Group will be led by a spiritual mentor who will seek to create a missional mindset while fostering a safe environment where each member of the group can grow and become the immediate/spiritual family for each other. This will happen within a "smaller group" context. The overall purpose is not just for connection but for mentorship.
